This Privacy Policy explains how ASCENDIUM GROUP - FZCO processes personal data when you visit ascendium.work or contact us through the website.

1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is ASCENDIUM GROUP - FZCO, a free zone company registered with the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, licence No. 58930 (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].

2. What data we collect

• Contact form. Your name, email address or phone number, the text of your request, the page and language from which it was sent, and the IP address of the request.
• Emails you send us. Your email address and the content of your message.
• Technical data. When you visit the website, our server and our content delivery provider process technical information such as IP address, browser type and time of the request. This is necessary to deliver the website and to protect it against abuse.
• Website statistics. We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool hosted on our own server, to count visits: pages viewed, referring website, country, device and browser type, and whether the contact form was sent successfully. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address and does not identify you personally. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, no statistics are collected.

We do not use cookies, advertising trackers or social media pixels. Please do not send us sensitive personal data (for example, health information or identity documents) through the contact form.

3. Why we use your data

• to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out a business relationship with you;
• to keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and make sure it works properly;
• to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used and to improve it;
• to comply with our legal obligations.

We process your data on the basis of your consent when you send us a request, because processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or because it is necessary for the purposes above, in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell it.

4. Who receives your data

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our communications, and only to the extent necessary:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery and website security (global network, including the United States);
• Proton AG — business email (Switzerland);
• our hosting provider — the server that runs the website, the contact form and the statistics tool (Austria, European Union).

We may also disclose data where required by law or by a competent authority, or to protect our legal rights.

5. International transfers

Because of the providers listed above, your data may be processed outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union, Switzerland and the United States. We use providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect personal data, and data is transferred only to the extent necessary to answer your request and operate the website.

6. How long we keep data

• Enquiries and related correspondence — for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and for up to 3 years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law;
• Server logs — up to 14 days;
• Website statistics — in aggregated form that does not identify you.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you access to your personal data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, or to provide you with a copy of it. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. You may also lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

8. Security

The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to our server and mailboxes is restricted and protected, and we review our security measures regularly. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Children

The website is intended for businesses and is not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
